Site-Specific Housing Mix Adjustments
The appropriate mix of house types and sizes must be determined on a site-by-site basis, taking into account location, site characteristics, surrounding area need, and tenure. The LDP enables local adjustments to ensure these factors are considered.
However, it is recognised that the appropriate mix of house types and size in each case will be influenced by the location, site characteristics and need in the surrounding area. The exact need in terms of house types and sizes varies by tenure and will need to be determined on a site-by-site basis in response to up to date evidence of need. The LDP therefore enables local adjustments to be made on a case by case basis to ensure these factors are taken into account.
