Strategic Landscape Policy Areas designated
Seven Strategic Landscape Policy Areas are identified with precise boundaries to be detailed in the Local Policies Plan: Belfast Basalt Escarpment, Carnmoney Hill, Carrickfergus Escarpment, Donegore Hill, Drumadarragh Hill, Lough Neagh and Lough Beg (including shoreline), and Tardree Forest and Mountain.
The Council has identified the following Strategic Landscape Policy Areas and their precise boundaries will be brought forward in the Local Policies Plan:
• Belfast Basalt Escarpment;
• Carnmoney Hill;
• Carrickfergus Escarpment;
• Donegore Hill;
• Drumadarragh Hill;
• Lough Neagh and Lough Beg (including shoreline); and
• Tardree Forest and Mountain.
