Strategic Landscape Policy Areas definition
The Borough's most important landscapes recognised for their scenic quality and environmental value are identified as Strategic Landscape Policy Areas, which are protected from undesirable or damaging development due to their sensitivity to change.
These comprise our Borough's most important landscapes recognised for their scenic quality and environmental value, which given their sensitivity to change the Council considers are worthy of protection from undesirable or damaging development.
