Presumption in favour of landscape-protecting development
The Council will support development that protects and enhances the landscape character, seascape character and specific landscape features of the Borough, including its coastline with Belfast Lough.
The Council will operate a presumption in favour of development that protects, and where appropriate enhances, the overall landscape character, seascape character and specific landscape features of our Borough, including its coastline with Belfast Lough.
