Listed Building Descriptions and Features
List descriptions may not comprehensively record all features of a building. The absence of a feature from the description does not mean it lacks interest or can be altered without consent; advice should be sought from the Environment and Heritage Service when in doubt.
In some cases the list may set out the most important features of the building. In such a case this description is not intended to be a comprehensive or exclusive record. Absence from the list description of any reference to a feature (whether external, internal or within the curtilage) does not indicate that it is of no interest, or that it can be removed or altered without consent. Where there is doubt, advice should be sought from the Environment and Heritage Service.
