Marketing Requirements Overview
The council will assess proposals to redevelop employment sites by first seeking to retain all zoned employment land for continued use, with marketing and viability being key considerations in determining if alternative uses can be permitted.
The council's starting point in the assessment of proposals for the redevelopment of employment sites or buildings to alternative uses will be to retain all zoned employment land and buildings for continued use to ensure Belfast has an adequate supply to ensure thriving and prosperous economy and the objectives of the Belfast Agenda are met.
