Regional Development Strategy 2035 – Economic Land Supply

The RDS recognises the importance of Belfast as the major driver for regional economic growth. The RDS 2035 provides a framework for strong sustainable economic growth across the region and recognises that a growing regional economy needs a co-ordinated approach to the provision of services, jobs and infrastructure. It provides regional guidance to ensure an adequate supply of land to facilitate sustainable economic growth. RG1 ensures that there is adequate supply of land to facilitate economic growth. Land should be accessible and located to make the best use of available services.
