Out-of-centre retail proposals above 1000m² – locational justification requirement
Retail proposals above 1000m² in out-of-centre locations must demonstrate a specific locational requirement explaining why the business must be in that particular location rather than a designated centre.
In terms of need proposals above a threshold of 1000m² that are located in an out of centre location will be expected to demonstrate why there is a specific locational requirement why their business must be located within that particular location and not within a designated centre.
