Phased Development and Affordable Housing Delivery Triggers
For phased developments based on an agreed masterplan, the Council will include specific triggers in the Section 76 agreement to ensure affordable housing is delivered at key stages alongside market housing, not significantly in advance or later than market housing.
There may be occasions where development is delivered over a number of phases, based on an agreed concept masterplan. In such circumstances, the Council will normally include specific triggers in the Section 76 agreement to ensure that the affordable housing will be delivered at key stages and will not be delivered significantly in advance of, or later than, market housing.
