Scope and Timing of Impact Assessments
The council will agree the scope, key impacts, and level of detail for impact assessments before applications are submitted. Assessments should consider impacts over five years for most schemes or ten years for major schemes.
In undertaking an impact assessment, the council will seek to agree the scope, key impacts for assessment, and level of detail required in advance of applications being submitted. The basis of any assessment will normally consider potential impacts on designated centres within the catchment area identified as part of the sequential test. In line with best practice impact should be considered over time: up to five years for most schemes, or up to ten years for major schemes.
