Preferred methodology for retail impact assessment
The council's preferred method for Retail Impact Assessment is the Step by Step approach, which identifies proposal catchment by drive time and trade draw within each drive time band.
Whilst the council acknowledges that there are a number of different methodologies to carry out a Retail Impact and Assessment of Need, the council's preferred method is the Step by Step approach.
