Defining catchment area
Catchment is the area from which the development is intended to draw trade, determined by drive time calculation depending on the size and nature of the development.
The catchment is the area the proposal is intended to serve / draw trade from. This will vary depending on the specific development proposed and will need to take account of the size of development, the market in which the development will operate and any relevant characteristics of the business / operator model.
