Submission of consent application does not prevent prosecution
An application for advertisement consent submitted after receiving a warning letter does not prevent the council from pursuing prosecution for the unauthorised display.
It should be noted that where an application for advertisement consent is submitted following a warning letter, this of itself will not prevent the council from pursuing prosecution.
