Policy DES2: Masterplanning approach for major development - landmarks and public art
Major development must reference unique parts of the city through realisation of key landmarks in prominent or gateway locations, and should seek to include public art provision where appropriate.
Planning permission will be granted for major development where it accords with the following masterplanning principles: (h) References unique parts of the city through the realisation of key landmarks within prominent or gateway locations. (i) Seek to include where appropriate the provision of public art.
