Pre-Application Engagement with Registered Housing Associations
Developers triggering affordable housing policy requirements must contact a Registered Housing Association (RHA) or relevant operator at the outset to establish partnership essential for successful delivery of affordable housing.
From the very outset in drawing up a housing proposal, where a developer identifies that a scheme will trigger the requirements of policy DM 17, they should contact a RHA or other relevant operator of their choice, as this partnership is essential for the successful and timely delivery of affordable housing.
