Heritage Impact Assessment for Tall Buildings Above Heritage Assets
Applications that add floorspace above heritage assets and trigger the tall building definition must include full details of heritage impacts within the Heritage Impact Assessment section of the Tall Buildings Design Statement.
Such applications may include additional floorspace being added above a heritage asset where the resultant height would trigger the tall building definition and in turn the policy requirements of DES3 and the assessment criteria as set out in this SPG. Full details of these aspects should be included within the 'Heritage Impact Assessment' section of the TBDS.
