Trigger for tall building assessment and policy compliance
Any building 35m AOD or taller, or significantly higher than surroundings, automatically triggers compliance with policy DES3 and the assessment criteria in this SPG.
Therefore, any building 35m (AOD) or taller (approximately 9+ storeys) or those which are significantly higher than their surroundings, will automatically trigger the need for applicants to comply with the policy requirements of DES3 and the assessment criteria as set out in this SPG.
