Electric charging points should be considered within the layout and design of parking arrangements so as to avoid unnecessary additional costs if retrofitted at a later date. SuDS and green roof design solutions should also be considered at an early stage. A Service Management Plan (SMP) may be required for larger development schemes and should reference green infrastructure where appropriate.
