Affordable Housing Types and NIHE Confirmation
When an affordable housing requirement applies to a planning application, the Council will liaise with NIHE to confirm the requirement and advise on the required proportions of social housing and intermediate housing for each site.
Where a planning application is submitted to the Council and is subject to an affordable housing requirement, the Council will liaise with NIHE to confirm if affordable housing is required on the site. NIHE will then advise the Council on the required proportions of social housing and intermediate housing for each site.
