Hierarchy of streets - Secondary streets
Secondary streets connect primary streets into neighbourhoods and accommodate traffic movement while supporting pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, and mixed uses such as on-street seating with slower vehicle speeds.
Secondary streets connect primary streets into neighbourhoods and while they can facilitate traffic movement they can also accommodate a number of uses such as on-street seating and spill out spaces. Priority here still remains with pedestrian's cyclists and public transport with slower vehicle speeds than a primary street.
