SuDS, Trees and Planting in Public Realm
Developments and public realm schemes should incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), trees, and planting to promote biodiversity, climate resilience, and connect with green and blue infrastructure.
The use of SuDS, trees and planting will also be encouraged throughout the public realm to promote biodiversity and climate resilience within the city. Public realm schemes and new developments should also encourage the connection and utilisation of the cities green and blue infrastructure where appropriate.
