Developers and Applicants Responsibilities
Developers and applicants must engage early with Registered Housing Associations regarding affordable housing need and delivery, and work with the Council throughout the process to deliver required affordable housing units.
Developers and applicants play a key role in the delivery of affordable housing. They are required to engage early in the process and establish a partnership with a RHA in relation to affordable housing need and delivery. They will discuss planning requirements with the Council throughout the process and successfully help deliver the required affordable housing units.
