Policy DES1: Principles of Urban Design - Enclosure and Continuity
Planning permission will be granted for development that provides adequate levels of enclosure and continuity to promote clear urban form that users can easily orientate themselves around and move through.
Planning permission will be granted for new development that is of a quality, sustainable design that makes a positive contribution to placemaking by: (c) Providing adequate levels of enclosure and continuity to promote clear and understandable urban form which users can orientate themselves around and move through easily.
