Scale of Development in Local Context

The scale of new development should be influenced by the existing local context, which may be relatively consistent at a local level or vary significantly within larger urban areas, requiring case-by-case assessment.

The scale of development should be influenced by existing context. At a local level this may be well established and relatively consistent, however within a larger urban area the scale of development may vary from block to block whereby a more detailed assessment will be required on a case by case basis.
