Community Knowledge and Contextual Understanding
Applicants should engage with and draw upon community knowledge and understanding of local areas to inform their development proposals and their relationship to the site.
Our communities are in a unique position to enable this, through their knowledge and understanding of the area that surrounds them. Applicants should draw on this knowledge and the guidance in this document to further develop their understanding and in particular its relationship to the site and the development proposed.
