Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery (MVHR) System

MVHR systems extract stale air from moisture-producing rooms and supply fresh air to habitable rooms, recovering heat from the extracted air through a central heat exchanger unit before the filtered supply air enters the home.

Mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) system: MVHR extracts stale air from moisture producing rooms (e.g. kitchens, bathrooms etc.) and supplies fresh air to habitable rooms (e.g. living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms etc.). The extracted air is taken through a central heat exchanger unit and the heat recovered into the supply air which passes through a filter in the heat unit before entering the home.
