Bin Storage in Side-Rear Locations
Bins may be stored to the side-rear of a property if sufficient space exists without impeding rear access, appropriate screening hides them from public view, and in-curtilage car parking is not lost.
While bins should be stored in rear gardens, the storage of bins to the side-rear of a property may be permitted where it is demonstrated that:
i. Sufficient space to accommodate the bins is available without impeding rear access;
ii. Appropriate screening will be in place and maintained in order to hide the bins from public view; and
iii. The storage of bins will not result in the loss of in-curtilage car parking provision.
