Side walls, windows and privacy protection
Side walls should be solid finish except for conservatories. Windows facing shared boundaries are only acceptable where they will not negatively impact neighbour privacy.
Care must also be taken to avoid overlooking and it is also preferable that side walls of extensions should be of a solid finish (except for conservatories). Where windows facing a shared boundary are proposed, they will only be acceptable where it can be demonstrated that there will be no negative impact on the privacy of neighbours.
