Extension length, proportion and roofing
The optimum length of an extension should reflect the scale and proportion of the existing property. Roofs must complement and relate sympathetically to the existing house.
In all cases the optimum length of an extension should reflect the scale, proportion and mass of the existing property. Roofs (for both single and two storey extensions) need to complement and relate sympathetically to the existing house.
