Regional Development Strategy 2035 guidance on retrofitting dwellings
The RDS recognises that retention and retrofitting of existing dwellings is a sustainable form of housing, and encourages use of recycled materials to reduce natural resource depletion.
The Regional Development Strategy (RDS) provides regional guidance (RG) under the three sustainable development themes of Economy, Society and Environment. RG9 recognises that the retention and retrofitting of existing dwellings create a sustainable form of housing and that the use of recycled material should be encouraged to reduce the depletion of natural resources.
