Accessible bathroom requirements
Accessible bathrooms must include a WC, basin, and level-access shower (with provision for a bath alternative), with flexible and easily adaptable services. The bathroom should be on the same floor as the main bedroom, preferably adjacent to it.
To be fully accessible bathrooms require a WC, basin and installed level-access shower with provision for a bath in place of the shower if needed. Services should therefore be flexible and easily adaptable, and where a level access shower is installed, that room should be constructed as a wet room.
