Weather sheltering for entrances
Main entrances must be sheltered from the weather as a requirement of NI Building Regulations, with the Council encouraging the same standards to be applied to secondary entrances leading to private amenity space.
While it is a requirement of the NI Building Regulations that main entrances be sheltered from the weather, the Council would encourage proposals to apply the same standards to any secondary entrances, particularly those leading to private amenity space.
