Internal storage in apartments
New apartment developments must provide built-in storage space separate from utility areas, with minimum space requirements set out in a referenced table. The storage space can be accommodated within minimum space standards provided individual rooms retain sufficient space.
Adequate space for internal storage must be provided separate to areas containing boilers and other utility infrastructure. At a minimum, units within new-build apartment development must provide built-in storage space commensurate with the areas set out in Table 1 below.
