Tree and hedgerow protection and compensatory planting
Existing trees and hedgerows must be protected through adequate layout and visual setting considerations. Where removal is unavoidable, compensatory planting proposals are required.
Where existing trees and/or hedgerows are removed the Council will expect the layout to include proposals for compensatory planting. Specific policy criteria relating to trees is provided by Policy TRE1.
