Public Transport Accessibility Standards
Bus stops should be within maximum walking distances of 100 metres for elderly or mobility-impaired persons, 200 metres for most dwellings, and up to 400 metres maximum overall.
Around 100 metres should be a maximum walking distance for the elderly or those whose mobility is impaired and for the majority of other dwellings the distance should be within 200 metres, with a maximum walking distance of 400 metres.
