Protection of local character and amenity in residential development
Development proposals must not unacceptably harm the local character, environmental quality or amenity of established residential areas. Overdevelopment of sites is not acceptable.
Great care must be taken to ensure that development or redevelopment proposals do not unacceptably harm the local character, environmental quality or amenity of established residential areas. In all cases, the overdevelopment of sites will not be acceptable.
