Development in the countryside (SP 1.11)
In countryside locations, development will be supported where it accords with LDP policies and is appropriate in scale and nature to the location. Other development requires overriding essential reasons and cannot be located in settlements.
In the countryside, development proposals will be supported in principle where they accord with the relevant policies and/or designations of the LDP, and are of a scale and nature appropriate to the location. Other development will only be permitted where there are overriding reasons why it is essential and could not be located within a settlement.
