Merit-Based Assessment of Residential Development Applications
Every application for new residential development, conversions, or subdivisions of existing buildings for residential use in the Belfast City Council area will be assessed on merit, considering existing legislation, planning policy framework, and the guidance in this SPG.
Every application for new residential development and/or conversions or subdivisions of existing buildings for residential use within the Belfast City Council area will be treated on merit, taking into account the existing legislation and planning policy framework and the guidance and policy described within this SPG.
