Social Housing and Intermediate Rent Standards
Where social housing forms part of a development, specific design requirements apply as conditions of funding from Housing Associations. These standards are set out in the Department for Communities' Housing Association Guide (HAG).
It should also be noted that where social housing forms part of a proposed development, there are a range of specific design requirements to which all new build social housing should adhere to as a condition of funding received by Housing Associations as part of the Social Housing Development Programme. Details of these standards are set out within the Department for Communities' (DfC) Housing Association Guide (HAG).
