Disclosure of Confidential Information in Viability Assessments
The Council recognises that certain confidential information in viability assessments, such as ongoing negotiations and compensation details, should not be disclosed publicly as it could prejudice developers or harm the public interest.
The Council accept that, in certain cases, disclosure of confidential information could be prejudicial to the developer if it entered the public domain or could cause harm to the public interest that outweighs the benefits of disclosure. This might include information relating to negotiations, such as ongoing negotiations over land purchase, and information relating to compensation that may be due to individuals, such as right to light compensation.
