Introduction to Strategic Plan-wide Viability Assessment
This section introduces the strategic plan-wide viability assessment outcomes used to inform the Local Development Plan, which tested representative hypothetical sites across different scenarios to assess development viability.
The following sections provide an overview of the outcomes of the strategic plan-wide viability assessment undertaken to inform the development of the LDP. To enable this, a series of hypothetical sites that were representative of the future land supply in Belfast has been identified, providing a number of scenarios to which the assumptions discussed in the previous chapter could be applied.
