Scope of plan-wide viability assessment

A plan-wide viability assessment provides high-level assurance that policies are compatible with likely economic viability of development, but cannot provide precise answers for every individual development over the plan period.

However, it is important to note that a plan-wide viability assessment cannot provide a precise answer to the viability of every development likely to take place over the plan period. Rather, its purpose is to provide a high-level assurance that the policies within the Plan have been set out in a way that is compatible with the likely economic viability of development needed to deliver the Plan.
