Pre-application discussion (PAD) process
Applicants are strongly recommended to contact the Council to arrange a PAD meeting to discuss proposals and clarify issues before formal submission.
A PAD process is strongly recommended. It is an opportunity for you to discuss your proposal with the Council and we can advise you on what the issues will be when it is considered. A PAD should improve the quality of your application, reduce the time it takes to determine your application, and give you peace of mind that you are on the right lines before making an application.
