Glossary - Zoning or Zoned Land
Defines zoning as the division of land into zones (residential, commercial, industrial) where certain land uses are permitted or prohibited, forming part of local planning policy.
Zoning or Zoned Land Zoning is the process of dividing land into 'zones' (e.g. residential, commercial, or industrial) in which certain land uses are permitted or prohibited. In Belfast this will form part of the Local Policies Plan.
