Glossary - Department for Communities (DfC)
DfC is the central government department responsible for housing policy in Northern Ireland, providing funding for social rented and intermediate housing, and overseeing Registered Housing Associations.
Department for Communities (DfC) The central government department responsible for housing in NI. It sets the overall housing policy for the region and provides grant or loan funding for social rented housing and intermediate housing. It is also responsible for the registration, inspection and monitoring of Registered Housing Associations (RHAs) and for the Housing Association Guide (HAG).
