Glossary - Common Waiting List
A common waiting list in Northern Ireland where all applicants for social rented housing are registered and offered suitable housing according to a points-based assessment of need.
Everyone who applies for social rented housing in NI is added to a common waiting list in accordance with the Common Selection Scheme. Suitable housing is then offered to those on the waiting list in accordance with a points-based assessment of need.
