Use of Commuted Sums
Commuted sums must be ring-fenced for affordable housing need in Belfast and may be used in various ways including supporting additional on-site provision of affordable housing within other developments by registered housing associations.
Any commuted sums will be ring-fenced for use in addressing affordable housing need in Belfast. There are a number of different ways in which commuted sums may be used to assist the delivery of affordable housing, such as:
• Supporting additional on-site provision of affordable housing within other developments (i.e. by a RHA);
