Commuted Sum Calculation Formula
Sets out the formula for calculating financial contributions (commuted sums) when affordable housing is not provided on-site, using total units in scheme, required affordable housing percentage, and Department for Communities Total Cost Indicators.
The calculation will therefore be carried out as follows:
( Total number of units in scheme x % affordable housing units required by Policy HOU5 ) x Total Cost Indicator (TCI) per unit = Required financial contribution
