Council Assessment of Sustainability for 20% Affordable Housing Provision
The Council, in consultation with the NIHE, will determine whether providing 20% affordable housing on-site is sustainable for a proposed development. Affordable housing requirements on zoned housing land are considered sustainable by default.
The Council, in consultation with the NIHE, will determine whether the provision of 20% affordable housing on site is sustainable as part of a proposed development. Issues that could arise on zoned housing land will be addressed in KSRs set out in the LPP and, therefore, the affordable housing requirement will be considered as sustainable in relation to all zoned housing land.
