Wheelchair Housing Requirements
Housing developments must include a proportion of standard wheelchair-accessible houses designed to HAG standards, with the specific proportion and size determined case-by-case by NIHE. Bespoke units may be designed with occupational therapist input where a specific tenant with wheelchair needs is identified.
